Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders! h9 X" E$ n- l. \9 X
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS6 f/ L3 f5 r- F0 F$ b9 w
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations / H+ l7 F+ k/ K5 Y5 g7 i/ yOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring ; K, p0 u' v( h9 sOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications / E! k6 l$ p$ N; k j" { kOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results * X! U) s7 W7 U% g' N8 tTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors * u/ D1 a& [; b( aResearch, define and provide terminology# ?( L' ~7 w4 E8 K7 {- \0 f

& D, t8 d# F& ]) YWhat do I need to qualify for this job?; z! G- G( ?/ S& }, _ }

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience 7 v5 C4 f$ x( QWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)" |& T' e& O }
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market # r, T; _0 @) }9 b7 p0 zExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus* V7 T& Z/ g6 v$ @
