Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders ; F; N X1 u5 L& N o& xProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS0 g' Q3 D$ @1 P$ q' U
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations 4 G! D7 C1 A- x" ^( o- A) s, OOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring4 i* C1 A% j; v7 T
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications + N1 ?( Z: l3 b: z7 q0 L! E- nOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results9 a# ?6 t! k4 m9 S1 ~) w
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors * f4 \4 F4 `, u4 r. g9 q" C: Y0 ^Research, define and provide terminology. _) u3 Y) H& \6 s2 l& r
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level 8 k; s% A7 K% d/ S2 o) X& \Support and advise external translators % b1 E0 ?0 G7 R: S3 WUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior; I. ?. O6 D( }
6 N! B' t Y3 nWhat do I need to qualify for this job?' y( m& X- ^/ q8 E# `# g3 n
' V4 n8 L3 u! O: HBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience ' P; U8 o) M, p" AWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company). K$ Z: }4 D3 Q9 E
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market & |/ ~9 W% S. y$ L$ QExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus ; K7 |+ l" p5 C( d6 S! ^* jAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills 1 l) k: @7 g/ u3 }! ~0 X; ^Prefer basic understaning about German!
