What are my responsibilities?

. L% I" `: d' O) g7 m- UContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
l7 }/ _; o e7 @Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS) b) p v2 |9 l% c7 ~7 Z, [
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
; Y' T. O+ x& H- P- IOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
; I1 o) k; t, g- WOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
9 E2 m2 g; ]7 E. S" U: j9 yOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
. d0 {0 y# g; C% }Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors

Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level

8 O3 \ U8 p7 C7 o' `2 x7 g& \0 oWhat do I need to qualify for this job?* P7 Z/ O3 [2 c1 A/ z
* L9 w% e) {2 B0 PBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
' q) Y7 h. Y+ s- M& KWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
8 y0 S7 k: `9 R, k$ CExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
# W/ m' K; T& L4 W' M0 h$ IExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus; h2 ]2 ?1 n+ |6 q' Y
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
