Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
$ k! Y. ~0 X- o; U' gProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS' ~7 ^2 L; d: B3 {
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations4 y9 L! |- q; Q5 G. @
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring9 N k; G6 h( w6 J
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications# x) W3 Q* G7 x& }; [- }* e
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results" ?( I2 z+ b1 u1 m
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors

) {- V( Y% j |4 Q8 |Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level

Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?& j9 }4 J, j( k$ H! X
o. p4 N. i. n R/ s
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience' @' f& Y, N* b) x( T" W
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
+ C& K- T: x0 `& z0 e' GExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
7 Y( v. B2 v. f* Y! F) F6 I& `Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus$ @) T j ~/ l' b$ F1 _6 t% F
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
