Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders6 J0 z2 Q; G0 D B9 Q, U
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
3 L% {* m% }& } z- mReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations9 z2 f" r& ]2 h5 }
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
v2 O& x0 b+ t/ w% @2 WOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
: C6 R' h4 W' k* P0 \Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results* b- v3 r4 j" P/ I! m7 [& v- b
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors1 S3 a0 v9 r( p- l9 e
Research, define and provide terminology
$ F' [4 I y. l+ }8 w; }Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level: z7 K3 h+ a2 ?+ q% ~7 L |
Support and advise external translators

What do I need to qualify for this job?
5 o% w; C3 i9 a
+ L& m) p7 D# x. a) d1 m- ABachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience& `" b) M3 F( L8 L4 j9 I
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)8 F" h" y g3 U0 S2 d* l
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market9 Y, h+ g! c: c$ V$ }
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
" y7 I# \. I9 V5 f6 h& pAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills( g1 m: ?- c* q8 G& U8 }
Prefer basic understaning about German
