Dear Olympic friends.

One year from now, Beijing will write history as the first city ever to host both the summer and winter editions of the Olympic games. The Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will be a great moment to bring the world together in a spirit of peace, solidarity and friendship.

一年后的今天，北京将书写历史，成为有史以来第一个既举办过夏季奥运会、又举办冬季奥运会的双奥之城。北京2022年冬奥会将是一个伟大时刻，秉持和平、团结和友谊的精神，将全世界凝聚在一起。

These Games will connect the Chinese people with the world. Beijing and its surrounding areas will transform into a hub for Olympic sport on snow and ice. The Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 are bringing to life China's vision to engage 300 million people with winter sport.

北京冬奥会将使中国人民与世界紧密相连。北京及其周边地区将成为奥林匹克冰雪运动中心。北京2022年冬奥会将帮助中国实现带动3亿人参与冰雪运动的愿景。

You can already feel his passion for winter sport in the excellent preparations for the Games. The entire world will see this passion next year when China welcomes the best winter sport athletes.

大家从出色的赛事筹办，就足以感受到中国人民对冬季运动的热情。中国明年将迎来全球顶尖的冬季项目运动员，届时全世界都将见证这种热情。

Today, it is my great pleasure to invite the National Olympic Committees of the world and their athletes to these Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

Dear athletes and friends from all National Olympic committees, we look forward to seeing you in Beijing in exactly one year from now for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

We can all look forward to the great Chinese hospitality and efficiency of organization that the Chinese people have demonstrated so many times.

中国人民热情好客、工作高效我们已多次见证，我们对此也万分期待。

Our Chinese partners and friends will deliver spectacular Olympic Winter Games. That will change the landscape of winter sport forever. There will be winter sports before these Olympic Games and winter sports after these Olympic Games. Because they will transform the global scene for winter sports.

我们的中国伙伴和朋友将举办一场卓越的冬奥盛会。此次盛会将永久改变冬季运动的面貌。承前启后，继往开来，北京2022年冬奥会将改变整个世界的冬季运动景象。

Having seen how China is overcoming the coronavirus crisis, we are very confident that our Chinese hosts will ensure safe and secure Olympic Games in full cooperation with the IOC.

我们已经充分见证中国如何克服新冠肺炎疫情影响。中国举办方将与国际奥委会通力合作，确保北京冬奥会安全举办。我们对此深信不疑。

Every time that I have visited China, I am so impressed by the enthusiasm and support for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. This is why we can say already now with great confidence. We all are looking forward to this wonderful global celebration of sport.
