From our SLC Global Service Business Process Shared Services (BPS) Business Shared Services (BSS) Global Translation Services (GTS) CN, Siemens are looking to recruit a professional Translation Specialist.

What are my responsibilities?

, T" F5 ~/ K* O. U2 nContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
  Z( z- D3 ~  G: H' }- zReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
Research, define and provide terminology

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- \; ^* q; l% }5 Q& n; WBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
+ K6 N% `' Y( H8 R% ]" i0 }Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
1 d! }2 x9 W- C# z2 [# ]Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
* ]/ |6 H( c, w- }Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
