1 D3 z; n) B/ w' n) @From our SLC Global Service Business Process Shared Services (BPS) Business Shared Services (BSS) Global Translation Services (GTS) CN, Siemens are looking to recruit a professional Translation Specialist.

, B: `- O/ u& Z1 O( KWhat are my responsibilities?

Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
7 N. Y6 D: u4 q, N) TProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
4 i! n& w+ N$ r1 A5 M; a: a5 j9 ^Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
1 x+ \4 z9 m% s2 r4 w& E. ~Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
* F8 z3 r: [/ t/ p& F. Z' FTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
3 |  C$ Z  s3 F( wResearch, define and provide terminology
* F0 W3 c$ ~/ mAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
Support and advise external translators
3 W3 \, a* ^1 o: q) @Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

7 k! z/ I( _  H8 `What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
2 F4 H" \% H% m" O. ]8 PWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
. q0 h- _6 P0 {: L# xExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
