From our SLC Global Service Business Process Shared Services (BPS) Business Shared Services (BSS) Global Translation Services (GTS) CN, Siemens are looking to recruit a professional Translation Specialist.

What are my responsibilities?
/ b( c; T. N$ l& k
Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
' \9 \% R, K! v: S- u$ zProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
: }4 X0 ~8 Z+ r0 N+ w. j( GReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
% q, P( M( i% U' oTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
! T( a4 v% I9 N+ _9 }Research, define and provide terminology
  _. ?) \5 y* A, j7 o/ `$ xAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
Support and advise external translators
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- l9 e% y1 y& }( Z
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
- }  c( ]& Y& S3 B! _Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
$ A, e- A- S' _2 `3 W& IExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
" F5 o# l2 V7 }, v! m7 AAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
