& [1 t2 b' n2 t% ?! SContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
8 Z( n1 l: Z! N2 Y3 w% PProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS8 T. Y4 [# e- ^5 f
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations1 V' N, T8 v: k& F8 M
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring& i( l: z3 Q; E5 v
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
% }, q' w/ K8 @5 MOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results: U9 [5 h5 _- S! z8 L. b4 v* L+ |
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
! z# P2 H1 j2 s3 \6 F* Q+ kResearch, define and provide terminology
* S, D3 D) R% h$ g0 M9 ^( JAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
' k4 A. I" {+ c4 D) YSupport and advise external translators
. [' N$ B+ f5 d+ R2 YUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

! p3 @6 R! y+ v( c, ]$ {What do I need to qualify for this job?4 r0 f2 ~1 p* J
# o) _# z& o" c" _( t: K4 z2 Q
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
+ ?9 g% Q5 p" B+ Q4 LWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
2 I: k. V! A* jExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market1 g. P* k. x( r7 n) f
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus7 ]! o! ?( n9 I3 p& {
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
