What are my responsibilities?

5 B2 E4 X, v9 v# n. e' DContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
. D7 K: a9 M6 W9 I c8 o iProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
: O* l6 T( O A! i: N) lReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations4 N4 u5 c7 @) }) r' F8 L
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring9 V9 C7 K( g4 T0 a; e1 P, f
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications3 z4 f" M/ I# A/ d( s) I$ H+ j
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
7 `$ W7 v* n! }% o* @! ]Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors7 G" h" v; d! [: O9 Y4 v
Research, define and provide terminology! H Y3 \9 V/ H R' e
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level3 t& `( e0 L; c
Support and advise external translators2 n9 H$ ]. G d
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

- m, i1 L0 ^1 O, ^What do I need to qualify for this job?/ o: p0 E$ F& y4 S) T' d
+ S4 B9 c! `9 A/ P" p
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
' d# d) d) f4 x" b: {' z5 UWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
2 @) l& q5 @& g2 TExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market/ t2 t& ?# r3 @* x5 T) w
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus( o ?, O5 C7 d8 Y
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills; Q* f/ X% t: Q* z& a
Prefer basic understaning about German/ _7 z' W2 h' m O$ }& \6 O* I
