Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS& Z6 ^$ e7 e$ J) g0 I0 D5 ?
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations) a1 N, r1 {7 y& G1 q
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring% W8 J* _9 r, |9 W2 N4 @ p
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
. q" @8 M+ ]4 ]& j8 W( m5 Q) j q8 n( K- yOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results9 \: W' L/ \2 Z e
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
4 Z, }" F9 P5 wResearch, define and provide terminology
# M$ u: T/ ?1 R' c& ?Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
8 X/ [- W( v! n" KSupport and advise external translators
5 R8 s% V4 ?/ T4 [% |3 t. p8 NUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

% ?+ d: P$ d2 {What do I need to qualify for this job?0 K1 L! S) Z/ l1 `

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience9 _8 f# h( X8 h+ C: P8 {3 h0 p7 T% p4 S
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)& ?+ ] T& u! U4 J) T. ?+ n
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
I' R3 z6 J5 v3 j7 {( S* kExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus) L0 P5 [; z5 B- w
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills3 U% c& Y' W2 M0 a2 k
Prefer basic understaning about German1 `0 |/ H1 D+ ]& H* t. z
