Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
3 h& d7 G" d4 T! _7 F+ NProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
# d$ o8 ^3 d: a/ s: O& QReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
, M3 i3 C- c5 qOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
4 u3 V5 f, q- \9 X! ~3 i- `) {3 gOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications" F+ m/ `$ l) C$ C H
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
, |! I$ g. U5 ~Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors2 [0 L+ O/ ?$ r v
Research, define and provide terminology

Support and advise external translators! k. J& B+ J" H5 E+ O# ~
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?
0 F' d. }4 j5 @
$ t7 D+ j& f# O; e) ~; S: s$ y( y+ XBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
: e1 A: S. ?/ D5 n+ ]! ^# m) aWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
+ v3 H" p& j; ^: VExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
0 R! @ {$ Q$ u. @Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
! R& N+ h# D7 O* _. pAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills7 a( \" @, N( j/ G8 [& j1 m
Prefer basic understaning about German
