What are my responsibilities?

# h8 A5 y7 t! Q2 M3 c  f/ D% G2 `  {Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
' U5 K; X$ Z9 j. _7 V9 K! o) sProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
+ n; _2 w& S* l! [$ LOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
Research, define and provide terminology
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level

+ v2 H2 |! ^) B; ]2 pUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

$ p0 F2 R% K; ?. w8 P  e6 V4 F2 WWhat do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
. w2 k) F8 u' ?# g5 b2 O4 ^! oWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
# ^) Q+ [$ |( h' i+ {; w& L, oAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
