6 k6 o& I! `, a( ?/ t1 cContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders. U) Y5 Q; T5 S) l7 M$ s
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS3 y! D/ P' M" |& f$ B G5 U
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations# h1 {( _9 b$ ^6 S/ x+ z, z9 m
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
* X5 z7 Z1 d4 u* E2 IOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
9 |! J' | p" y9 IOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
" }+ c% Q( v! ^- ^2 ITranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors6 q2 A- }6 I9 s8 p( o
Research, define and provide terminology; x) a: V! Y2 @# e6 e
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level4 d# y/ A* Q7 v0 o, S
Support and advise external translators

( R5 W! {3 v. c, N1 pWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
: g2 u" |' S2 O0 e' O# E h( M, q8 Q7 X: y, J- d
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
* R7 {% Z+ ?, i; I5 y! J/ VWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
" d- w. K* B7 c: S) `/ w* S/ R5 o0 pExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market! ~6 k, i j! r! g. t: t; ^
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus2 W- r. z( x5 u
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
