8 i0 n/ x+ K yContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
% X A& W% I& S; S. Q2 Z9 AProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
9 q* F4 c9 ^2 ^4 z+ W" zReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations5 j# R" t1 W, v& n( Z. @* u6 Q
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring: Z- N1 m* r. N
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications

Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors! s! i. ~! I5 o) E% s. ~9 ~
Research, define and provide terminology
+ R0 f* R% h6 w* Q+ ZAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level

Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?
. D6 P* ]$ b! D2 M$ O$ u
9 N5 N( m7 [( ~5 `Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
2 v+ R0 e; B# {/ S4 l2 `Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company) E+ P+ C1 p5 ~- E
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
2 k6 q( k# u& s! |2 `* fExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus1 j6 Y }( C/ F" ?, u, N# q
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills) `) O; K; Q& F5 r4 u
