What are my responsibilities?

/ A: |0 s# c4 G Y5 `& TContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders- @& I! F9 n o1 @4 S" P- C# \
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS- w) o, o I+ H8 r. } L
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations" C2 v; J& R3 B+ m/ B
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring! j, W E( K- D0 T S7 Z
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications6 }$ h0 o' Q8 C8 m( n" V
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
; F. y+ C! ]3 k2 b# M# \1 ^+ G- ^Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors. d3 z, k8 H, D2 Q4 `, b
Research, define and provide terminology: m4 i& h: O- d* G6 U7 R
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
) U$ ^5 F5 u' TSupport and advise external translators" @6 w+ ]2 \2 s& C. l
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior' A& `; t9 w; Q U; |. ]1 C
8 P) U! R+ F% }, R3 |6 [What do I need to qualify for this job?" u: y" g; ^* Y; |5 y7 e6 M
( d6 n8 X4 p9 j: C
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
; k% {2 T6 G; j; t0 \Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
7 H! X( h" ]! a% D5 Q1 GExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
7 c" u: {- @( o# G9 ]: W" T) ^# EExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus3 N5 {. C9 i4 \( ]3 r7 b
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills" W1 K$ j6 j2 V; r: ?
Prefer basic understaning about German
