1 B) Y8 Q, a- l( N9 {! w0 tContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
( X$ {2 D4 Z5 D& _# s: Y* sProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS% g' v) L8 y0 Y& q# R
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations9 ]$ H" k1 O9 i3 X, }! E2 ^
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring7 B# ?5 q0 f {: W, }7 J
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
: ~- Y$ ~. A2 c7 d3 EOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results4 S+ N# C/ s4 M5 }; g( q; u
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors8 i8 D5 D1 G2 m b7 m, Y" M
Research, define and provide terminology
0 p) m5 B2 H$ IAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level( R- n9 t; e i$ @ X! I
Support and advise external translators0 j: z' j( i) F
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior! i3 i( T+ N% p! j. g7 u+ O# K B

What do I need to qualify for this job?$ c& j0 e. i: @5 W: b$ U# W% k
6 Q( j9 X5 d0 U% k5 P" F
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
8 o+ Y1 d1 k; X3 y! mWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
1 y. A. q4 _! p& a7 |Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market: \1 n2 d8 M1 O \; I9 V q
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
2 ~: t+ i2 |5 E( |! qAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills/ y0 U! y7 { k- }
Prefer basic understaning about German5 `3 H1 ]. i/ ~0 ?
