What are my responsibilities?

& p5 [: v1 Z% v" x0 H% {Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders) H6 h" @- _/ m. o* A
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
, X; e# p m' s; h) L) ~Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
2 Q& C& B2 \0 K) X% y: w. _' V) ^Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring/ u" t- C/ E* C- s! ^+ N
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
; M$ a9 [ p( s8 e+ UOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
& f5 l# Q' U, S, d; B& BTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors3 \ W$ z& g/ T1 |6 w3 k# _
Research, define and provide terminology) O6 Z2 P6 _# R& b% B
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level/ M2 b1 N6 ?2 @8 o& ]9 f& U
Support and advise external translators0 m& V' J( s) U7 N
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?
\- v( [. `3 @. p
, e3 m$ W# G8 M2 Z# RBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
& e$ c. L* m$ C! ^3 Z! }# V4 ^Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)+ h* E% [7 R) F: F! ]
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
: {% c: f& X! i$ Y* C6 { cExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
, r2 h: x2 H, s6 ZAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
