% t" e3 a' B3 P4 U* dWhat are my responsibilities?

! t3 X! {7 A, M2 Q6 e0 nContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
. H$ t, ^" O9 l7 a$ V; cOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
# `2 ]; ~5 A. g. e/ |# }Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
1 p  [: ]7 O* a# P- I" {Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
Research, define and provide terminology
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
Support and advise external translators
" X" V) K7 Q, eUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
/ U, W- X5 d/ {Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
  w% e8 t8 z* u0 I5 cExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
; e( F0 i, O* x4 j0 d9 ~# q$ NExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
6 e* }0 K* S/ F" aAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
- K- f3 s& v) lPrefer basic understaning about German
