What are my responsibilities?

0 i J$ S8 U( G( mContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders8 G' ?' f' i- n/ J1 d
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
, z, E( {# Z# I5 p' R* ?) d% o: MReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
- p( ~: F. }% ZOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring6 d, r3 }. u" N# {4 L
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
7 L, W1 a3 P4 z) m7 u: f/ ^$ eOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results% b. i1 J! V) q& H6 }, }
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors5 O( q K \# h& K
Research, define and provide terminology! I- q0 ?; f- O; c6 a0 {, I
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
+ c1 M3 e6 l% K7 \Support and advise external translators
; G& a( G6 D, dUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?# f$ X* L3 v% M
\0 w) \! g/ \) ^2 l$ CBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience& L1 E+ X1 a) w$ {2 c* n, O! l
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company) a5 b+ k* i( x
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
% A9 w) s0 k3 \2 U" h5 L+ k( @Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus6 v: b2 p3 Q S. @" C
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills, K' B! U4 G$ G4 W% i& F4 ?$ B
Prefer basic understaning about German
