Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders, }4 F$ L9 o) m/ S
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
! p( r. r. B2 {7 A& I% ?* h6 aReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations6 u! ~/ |' v) N O3 I
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring' K' k1 E0 U) c& r0 U
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
# C% k4 S$ ?0 E' ]/ O9 H2 UOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results( \0 [, ^7 i0 j' t/ c+ Z* y
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors

Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level# ?/ y; u" r* l, u9 Z
Support and advise external translators

" `4 Z6 L: W# o! dWhat do I need to qualify for this job?9 t4 r4 O5 d0 @. d8 X& V4 C, H- U& G

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience0 U- s3 {% C$ N4 V/ F
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
; F, G1 G/ [ u) s, y9 d9 m% SExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market5 h2 m: q! y3 z; ]( x, a5 N |# V) O
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus$ D: Q7 _% n V5 P4 y# W. {
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills2 P# o: q, l4 U. c: G# G) E/ ^& n
