What are my responsibilities?

6 \6 x# q6 ]' f3 }% g$ @Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
2 m, f8 t- @, y" G: \  MReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
8 x% T8 c' O6 q% DOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
  T! {7 m: \- k' T3 LTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
( L( u/ c0 s- q! hResearch, define and provide terminology
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
! [% D, S* M4 _Support and advise external translators
5 j0 E  t& A) T" wUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

$ R9 W/ e/ e$ L$ F" x& S% S  v: yWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
; T$ b' w- P5 W" o
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
( A# @  z* G7 H5 X" `6 KWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
; r, X! S% v+ Z* B$ J  K/ N% CExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
