Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders# ?; G# f/ ]: a8 i) Z4 W" `
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS0 @" s& Y/ h5 Q+ U: I9 r; `- f
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
* B/ ]0 \3 N* t/ o% ZOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring+ r O0 ]4 _* D. L, P
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications, {+ M" z' p$ r
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
. g) s& H* ?/ o, a( g# i5 T5 Q" ]Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors' S( B" f! a* I. F6 [/ ]0 X
Research, define and provide terminology
# |9 U6 t( x! V% _8 dAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level/ p4 X z! m& U% b; P2 n$ `
Support and advise external translators
4 P2 n: }$ z& e% \Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

8 [& K% J6 {' t! S: N4 j7 aWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
$ f4 j# P: C( j1 t
' f; M: F% z, g* ?9 V: FBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
) D* A$ C6 r, `9 s9 A7 jWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)1 p6 ~! X! ? r) c
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
|1 g! Q A" W6 S ^( n; kExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus5 d8 V- @5 I: P+ D' x2 M6 W
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
