Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
1 m, H9 G( V0 l7 p- P3 h& aProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
5 s7 R w3 {: c5 M' N6 eReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
; {# N# @' ?9 K* x9 C+ {0 [Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring3 E! N8 [( Y1 u+ X7 _% i
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
5 g. k# j( K0 T8 p& T5 _9 yOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
- c0 f) A' v2 s5 ?Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors7 e2 k P; Z- ^2 C! {; ~
Research, define and provide terminology* ]5 \ u, E0 u( ~. h4 Z) w4 L
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level2 d# M8 g7 z/ V2 u$ I3 f' |
Support and advise external translators

+ n0 ^* [, [- o& o; Q; S# cWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
) M& L. _9 e" C, t; W3 {' n) m/ Z" ~0 r, G8 e: M
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
% A! A. H% H, E' aWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
) c: t7 g& ^1 }0 WExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
; o! \2 ^& C/ [: O4 {Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus! B) a% f3 |+ }) h
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills. W8 B- b7 W6 e3 ?7 g6 R
Prefer basic understaning about German0 B* Y7 i7 \; C' N! z" C, r3 j) P8 @
