What are my responsibilities?

6 B$ r* d1 c' IContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
' o1 j/ u9 Q$ V6 \$ e( O; }Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
6 o8 S$ K' f- [$ H& YOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
* P' R$ o* d/ RResearch, define and provide terminology
6 F; W3 `3 l2 y# R7 U, HAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
4 n" U' V$ Y  r7 |2 N- GSupport and advise external translators
/ H, h- J+ I9 p0 l' ]  `1 f7 aUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

$ E4 a( A" a+ WWhat do I need to qualify for this job?

, |& l- q( ]' fBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
, E) R1 k1 _& C: O  S, hWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
, {' ?% [2 j6 V; FExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
- Q# Q; t1 I" [, C  X1 TExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
1 o6 A8 P, z! wAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
Prefer basic understaning about German
