What are my responsibilities?

! E! ~; R) k5 b5 ?. x% v- ^' yContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
* I* N* N5 ~: V- RProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
, R& C2 i1 p4 ?0 L$ BReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations6 `) e1 X: R _9 g9 d% _% ~- G
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
+ z, p6 L, o' k1 sOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications4 d3 U! J2 A2 P6 u- y; R) d
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
" X7 T$ h) j; g) b0 P% YTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
, k, x: q8 L' Y' KResearch, define and provide terminology4 B) K# H8 I. K" C
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
1 v. `' C4 x# N4 cSupport and advise external translators' |* x7 Q9 m2 Y8 a, V1 |+ r1 a7 h
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?! L' c! A% ~5 w; q1 f% T" c! E7 Q4 j
- H# B4 D) W( b
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience) m& c4 z* k8 b6 p4 C
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
3 l. `" P# j* F0 X! M8 `; PExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
8 E$ h8 j* h, z, h5 NExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
7 ~* `1 K/ J2 u& A. kAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills# e5 X7 t$ l4 P; \
Prefer basic understaning about German
